There are a bunch of links here; some are links to other bunches of links. These are pages I've found useful, but if you simply Google 'photography' you can probably find just about anything you want to know about photography. It is a fascinating hobby, especially now with the advent of digital media. If you're looking for stock pictures for your own web site, you'll find a link here. I've also linked a few search engines, but whenever I open my Internet Explorer or Mozilla, what pops up is Google. What does that tell you? The Search Goes On! Where would we be if we couldn't Google it? All the best search engines 'piled' into one. Arf Arf... With over half a million sites divided into more than 25,000 categories, Yahoo! is both browseable and searchable. And one of the oldest of these search tools. Yes I had to include Microsoft in here as well. OK, ok, I'm not a huge fan of Bill Gates, but what he doesn't create, he buys. Marketing, marketing, marketing. I really is a pretty good search engine. But it ain't Google... Favorite Sites As the link says; info about and samples from all the Masters! A nice place to see other's work. Lots of things to see, do and learn about. Discussion forums, neighbor-to-neighbor recommendations and reviews of merchants, labs, workshops. A place to upload your photos for critique and rating, IF YOU DARE. Choosing equipment, reviews on the techy stuff and places to buy. American Museum of Photography Lots of photos, both contemporary and historical. Enjoy... What was it that got me to start thinking about photography? The amazing and beautiful pictures I saw in National Geographic magazine as a young lad. Pictures of "faraway places with strange sounding names." And of course the detailed maps and descriptions of those places. Well, of course, now they have a web site... Looking for stock photos? You can get them here. Some are free, some you'll have to pay royalties for... A link to a list of links. Some of these are pretty cool, others; ho-hum. But a little something for everyone... A do-it-yourselfer's dream with how to articles and lots and lots of info on both the technology and the art...
